I have known David since first grade. We were good friends throughout grade school, junior high, high school, and college. David and I were friends all the way through grade school & high school in Lebanon. He was the very best type of friend anyone could ever have -- kind, generous and thoughtful. He was a unique individual with a quick mind and a tremendous sense of humor. During our college years in Springfield in the early '70s we shared some wonderful fun times. If ever I was down just being around David cheered me up. He had a wide breadth of knowledge on all types of subjects, and I'll always fondly recall our many discussions on everything from popular music, to art, to books & movies.
