I remember Dixie's telephone calls to my mom. They were always full of news about family. I enjoyed talking to Dixie she was so happy and glad to share that happiness with me.
Dixie was my Mother’s first cousin. Mother was Stella Frances Baker Bishop. Toni and Jerri might remember her. I remember playing with them when I was little. Dixie called me several times to catch up on Frances and our family. She was fun to talk to. We laughed a lot. She also cared enough to call me when Mom and Elsie passed.
I am so sorry for the family’s loss
