I am DEEPLY saddened to hear that Dorothy has left us - but overjoyed that she is rejoicing in her heavenly home that she loved to talk about. I met Dorothy several years ago and she quickly became a 2nd mom to me. I never once saw her without a smile - today she is definitely saying "Oh happy day!". She, along with her special prayers and hugs will be missed, but I would never call her back here - she is where she desired to be for so long. Prayers are being said for the family who she left behind.

I was a Chaplain at North Ridge Place when Dorothy lived there. What a blessing it was to visit with her. I always left uplifted as she would pray for my message to bring God's love to the group. Her other passion (and mine too), was for the children of the world and that was a part of every conversation and prayer. Her deep and abiding faith shined from her eyes.Christ's Presence was in and around her. She was truly an example of Christian womanhood that stands as an eternal legacy for we who were blessed to know her. . John 11: 25-26
