I grew up across the street from The Overbay and Lidke house. I love you all like my own family. Elsie was an amazing lady and she never let anything bring her down. My prayers are with you all now during this difficult time ?

Aunt Elsie was the oldest sister of my father in law, and I remember meeting her for the first time in her home in Maryland and immediately feeling welcome. The food was plentiful, the conversation was cheerful and you knew you were certainly welcome to return. It so reminded me of the family my father grew up in and I immediately loved her.
She always showed an interest in pictures of my boys and their development. This is after the fact she had raised my father in law to be an honorable man. She will be missed, but welcomed in Heaven.
I lived next door to Elsie and Noah for about 7 yrs, she always had a smile on her face and was a very kind, caring person. I loved talking to her over our front porch "fence". My sympathies go out to all her family.
