When you think of the history of the Springfield Bible Missionary Church you cannot help but think of Evelyn Burk. This sweet, godly lady was a charter member and perhaps one of the most influential. It has been mentioned many times that it was dear Bro. & Sis. Burk who kept the light of second blessing holiness alive in Springfield Missouri. She was a true prayer warrior and even when she couldn't get out to church she made sure we knew she was praying for us and her church.Her tender spirit and compassionate heart will be sorely missed by her church family.
