My deepest sympathy on the loss of your mother. Losing one's mother is very difficult at any age. Until I read the obituary, I didn't realize that your mother graduated from High School in the class of '39 with my mother, Jane Hooker Carrington. Now Evelyn and Jane can renew their friendship in heaven.
