Frank Alan Tokar (Seymour)'s Obituary
Frank Alan Tokar, age 61, recently of Ava, Missouri, and formerly of Florida and long-time resident of Indiana, departed this earthly life with family at his side the afternoon of Saturday, April 30, 2016, at his residence in Ava.
Born Frank Alan Tokar on March 15, 1955, in Gary, Indiana, he was the cherished son of Frank (Sandy) Tokar, and the late Carolyn J. Dobbins; much-loved father of Kelli Tokar (James Clark) and devoted grandfather of Makenzie and Marissa Clark; dearest brother of Pamela Wolff, Brian Tokar, Rebecca (Doug) Franklin, and Donald VanTil; brother to three step-siblings, Daniel Tokar, Tammy Lauer, and Jeffrey Tokar; dear brother-in-law of Tim (Lisa) McCann; uncle of many nieces and nephews; also survived by maternal grandmother, E. Louise Hall, many cousins, and dear friends.
Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Carol, to whom he was married for twenty-nine years until her passing in June of 2013.
Frank was a wood crafter, making furniture and wooden jewelry boxes. He also enjoyed assembling model cars, fishing and cooking. He was a member of Life Church in Ava, Missouri.
Frank was a true inspiration to all that met him.
A Celebration of Life Service for Frank will be held by family at a later date.
