Gary was my brother-in-law for many years, I feel sad to know he is gone. he was always nice, and a gentle man. My heart goes out to my niece Tammy, and her brothers Ronny, Chris, & Bryan for the sad loss of their father, whom I know they will miss terribly. I always liked Gary, Ill miss him.My prayers are with the family, and for the happy repose of Gary.

I have already posted this story on facebook but I thought maybe it would bring a smile to someone's face who hadn't read it. When i was a little girl, my grandpa Gary came over to our house one day wearing a cross necklace. I complemented his necklace telling him it was pretty. He immediately took it off his neck and handed it to me. He said "here honey. U will probably take better care of it then I would." I don't know why that made such an impression on me. It always made me view grandpa as the type of man that would give someone the shirt off his back if they wanted it. To me grandpa was a gentle and giving man, even though id never known him to have much. I kept that necklace safe all these years and still have it to this day. Its a token of a wonderful memory I'll have forever.
