eYour mother was a dear and special woman. She was more than my mother's cousin she was a dear friend to her all of her life and she was a comfort to me and my sisters after our mother,Lois passed on. Mark, Brian, Wesley and Bruce,
We were so sad to hear your your mom. She was very special and Donna is right about our mom thinking of your mom as a sister. I have many good childhood memories of your family's visit to Iowa and our trips to California. Your mom was always so thoughtful. I looked forward to her card every Christmas with the latest news about her boys and their families. There is a special bond between mothers and sons, so I know how hard this must be for all of you. There are not enough words to express the deepest sympathies in the loss of your mom, Jerry. She was so special to my mom, Lois, during her life. As a young girl growing up, my mom shared with me many of her happy memories spending time with Aunt Elizabeth & Cousin Jerry. She told of the fun times they had together as young girls often commenting Jerry was like a sister to her. After mom died I so enjoyed receiving cards from your mom and staying in touch.
