Harlen Ruppert (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Harlen Walter Ruppert, son of Harlen Walter Altman and Deborah Ann Kerns, was born February 28, 1986 in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He departed this life Tuesday, September 1, 2015 in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of twenty-nine years, six months, and four days.
He was preceded in death by his father; maternal grandfather, Samuel Delaney Kerns, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Harlen and Roberta Altman; and a cousin, Michael L. Kerns.
Survivors include his mother, Deborah Pilcher, and significant other Hayden Davis, Jr., of Falcon, Missouri; sister, Wendy Beasley and significant other, Johnny Davis, of Falcon, Missouri; step-brothers, Brayden Davis and wife Cheyanne, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Sammy Kerns of Lebanon, Missouri; step-sisters, Summer Davis and Tiffany Davis, both of Hot Springs, Arkansas; brothers Tyler Farmer and Kevin Ownbey; maternal grandmother, Joyce Kerns, of Lebanon, Missouri; aunt, Sharon Kerns, of Lebanon, Missouri; uncles, Samuel Delaney Kerns, Jr., and wife April, of Lebanon, Missouri, Robert Kerns of Lebanon, Missouri, and Nick kerns and significant other, Karen, of Jackson, New Jersey; two nephews, Seth and Austin; cousins, Johnny, Richard, Raven, Lincoln, Araya, Caillou, Bryan, Keith, Joyce Anne, and Alexis; other relatives and many dear friends.
Harlen was born in New Jersey, and moved to Missouri with his family as a young child. He spent the majority of his life living in the Lebanon, Missouri area. He enjoyed playing basketball and football, and was an avid video gamer.
Harlen was a loving son, brother, step-brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories he has created for his family and many dear friends.
A memorial has been established and contributions may be left at the funeral home.
