Bud was our neighbor for several years. He was a great friend to our entire family and will be greatly missed.

Sincerest condolences to all friends and family of Bud Duffey. I want to thank his children and immediate family for allowing me such a great privilege to share in saying good bye to him. His kindness has left a lasting mark on my heart. He is the neighbor Jesus spoke of in Mark 12:31,Matthew 22:39, and so many other places and in various other phrases in the Bible. Bud was a courageous man. We often talked for hours about his experiences in Vietnam and what he endured at such a young age. He also admitted the struggles he went through coming home. I immediately grew to have an immense respect for him. Bud was also a very hard worker and great advocate for people. He spoke about his experience as a long time union steward for Boeing. Bud also loved being a father and grandfather. He spoke more than highly of his kids and was such a proud grandpa!! And lastly he was compassionate...He was this single mother, neighbor-girl's only friend and shoulder to cry on for such a time. He offered constant encouragement and pushed me to fight through worry and sorrow. I am a better person for having known him and definitely stronger. The Lord knew what he was doing when He opened the door that allowed me to live across the street. I am forever grateful! I praise Jesus and celebrate such a wonderful friendship!! I await the day when we can meet again and share eternity in the presence of Jesus Christ!!
