Harold H. "Bud" Duffey Jr. (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Harold “Bud” H. Duffey Jr. son of Harold and Inez Agee Duffey was born April 25, 1954 in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life on Saturday September 5, 2015 in Derby, Kansas., at the age of sixty one years four months and eleven days.
Bud graduated from Lebanon High School with the class of 1972. Shortly after graduation he moved to Wichita, Kansas where he went to work for Boeing Aircraft until he retired.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents, his brother-in-law Marshall DeVanney and nephew, Michael DeVanney.
Bud is survived by his two daughters, Tricia Cunard and husband Brad of Olathe, Kansas and Katie Duffey of Tulsa, Oklahoma. One son, John Duffey and his wife, Randi, of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Seven sisters, Mary Murray and husband, Oneth, of Derby, Kansas., Elizabeth Mahan and husband, Glen, of Derby, Kansas., Anna Burgess and husband, Stanley, of Colarado Springs, Colorado., Mildred Bennett and husband, Richard, of Republic, Missouri., Rosalie DeVanney of Midwest City, Oklahoma., Bonnie Showler and husband, Jim, of Lebanon, Missouri., and Debbie Keen and husband, Brad, of Lebanon, Missouri. One brother, Tom Duffey and wife, Petra, of Derby, Kansas. Four grandchildren, Avery Cunard, Aiden Cunard, Jack Duffey, and Joshua Duffey. As well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Bud was a member of the AFLCIO Union at Boeing Aircraft. He enjoyed fishing and working on his Chevelle. Bud had a passion for old cars. He also enjoyed listening to country and old rock and roll music.
Some of his fondest memories were spent with his family and friends. Bud was a devoted father and grandfather, caring brother, and uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and accomplishments and will treasure the many wonderful memories he has created for his family and many friends.
