Herbert W. Rhoads (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Herbert William Rhoads, son of Hobert and Alice Cromer Rhoads, was born April 20, 1963, in Lebanon, Missouri. He departed this life Sunday, February 28, 2021, in his home, near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of fifty-seven years, ten months, and eight days.
His parents preceded him in death.
Herbert is survived by a brother, John Rhoads, and his wife, Lora, of Stoutland, Missouri; two sisters, Wilma Hodges, of Montreal, Missouri, and Neva Dix, and her husband, Wayne, of Forsyth, Missouri; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in the Lebanon, Missouri area, and graduated from Stoutland High School. He continued to make his home near Lebanon, and worked for the Copeland Corporation for many years.
He enjoyed going antiquing, collecting baseball cards, knives and chainsaws. He was a very reserved person but liked to tease his nieces and nephews. He also enjoyed working in his yard.
Herbert was a loving brother, uncle and was a caring friend. We celebrate his life and know that he will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 4 at 2 p.m. at Mayfield Cemetery near Stoutland, Missouri, officiated by Lanny Whit. A memorial has been established to Mayfield Cemetery.
