I loved Jan’s smile and laugh. Years have gone by but her kindness and laughter will always be remembered.
A memory of mine that shows Jan’s heart is she was at the animal shelter when I took some stray puppies there to be adopted. Having to keep them until they were healthy and strong enough that some would adopt them. I grew very attached and came to love them. I was upset and concerned to leave them but I just couldn’t keep them. Jan assured me they would all be adopted. She even called to let me know they all had found homes. She went above and beyond.
