I don't think I'll ever forget the first time I met Jeani. We were trying to start Special Olympics in the valley and she was really interested in bowling. She was using a walker and she fell I reached out to help her up and she got really upset and said I'm not a cripple. I tried to explain to her that I would offer to help anyone up, it had nothing to do with her using a walker. That was in 1993 and the last time I saw her we still talked about it. She was so stubborn and independent. But she had a heart of gold and would do anything she could to help someone else. She was always so much fun to be around and we always laughed at each other. The world needs more people like her, she was loved by anyone who knew her and she will be missed by so many many people... My thoughts and prayers go out to the family in their time of such a great loss..
Jeannie was a force to be reckoned with! She had a wonderful sense of humor, and such a positive outlook on life. She loved to attend church and the temple, and got out to each activity at the church that she could. She always bore a strong testimony of her beliefs, and will surely be missed. May her memory remain an inspiration to all of us to display some of the courage that she always had, and may she be doing all the things in heaven that she could not do here on earth.
