Dear Andersen Family,
I am truly sorry to hear of your tremendous loss. Death is always painful, but the pain is magnified when it's such a young and energetic person. My wife and I did not know Jesse but are saddened to hear of his death. We have not lost a child in death, but many of our friends have. They have been able to find a measure of relief and hope in what Jesus said at John 5:28-29, "...all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out..."
Our friends have also been strengthened by knowing that Jehovah God did not cause their child's death nor was it His will, but God does promise to restore them to life by means of a resurrection on the earth. At that time, when Jesus resurrects Jesse he will again be able to do all the things he enjoyed, but this time he won't get sick and will never have to die. Please take note of Psalms 37:11 & 29, "But the meek will possess the earth..." and "...they will live forever on it". As you grieve please be assured by the promise found in God's Word at 1 Peter 5:7,..."throw all your anxiety (cares or worries) on him, because he cares for you".

my son Ryan was in the hospital next to your son. We were devastated when we saw that he had died. I am so very very sorry for your loss.

My son is in Jesse's class. He keeps telling me what a great friend he was and how much he is going to miss him. My prayers are with the family today, especially Jesse's mom, I just can't begin to imagine the pain that she has right now. Praying for God's comfort, love and strength!

I never met Jesse, but was told by other family members that he was a sweet boy.
In his picture you can see he just shines & the little Angel.
