Jesse James Andersen (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Jesse James Andersen, son of Amanda Leigh Andersen and Michael Garrett Brown, was born August 21, 2005, in Springfield, Missouri. He departed this life Friday, October 18, 2013, in Mercy Hospital, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of eight years, one month, and twenty-seven days.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandmother, Marjorie Ann Nielsen; and a great-uncle, Mark Kevin Andersen.
Jesse is survived by his mother, Amanda Andersen, and her friend, Chris Guinn, of Lebanon, Missouri; his father, Michael Brown, of Perryville, Missouri; his maternal grandmother, Dori Andersen, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his maternal grandfather, Mick Andersen, of Lebanon, Missouri; his paternal grandparents, Cheryl Grant, of Chesterfield, Missouri, and Jim and Carole Brown, of Perryville, Missouri; four aunts, Mary Andersen, of Springfield, Missouri, Annie Andersen, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Chloe and Maeve Grant, both of Chesterfield, Missouri; three uncles, Hunter Andersen, of Hays, Kansas, Jordan Brown, of Columbia, Missouri, and Andrew Grant, of Chesterfield, Missouri; several other relatives and many friends, including his special friends at Fort Niangua Resort.
He was raised in Springfield, Missouri, until he was four years old and then moved with his mother to Lebanon, Missouri. He was currently in his Second Grade year of study at Maplecrest School in Lebanon.
Jesse had attended Heritage Baptist Temple in Lebanon, Missouri.
He enjoyed all activities on the Niangua River, including swimming, canoeing, hiking, and skipping rocks. He liked sports of all kinds, but particularly basketball. He loved playing video games, especially MineCraft. He enjoyed listening to music and dancing, and his favorite dinner always included fried chicken. He also loved school and was an excellent student.
Jesse was a loving son, grandson, nephew, and friend. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all of family and friends.
