I helped Joan at Garnett Place. I never knew anyone as nice as this lady. God truely gained an angel the day she took her last breath. She felt like family to me and im going to miss that. I didnt know one could cry so much over someone they took care of 5 days a week like i did. It truely felt like losing one of my own family members. She and her family mean alot to me and i will never forget them or her. Im happy i got to spend her last night holding her hand and making sure she looked comfortable while at work. She will be missed!! I love you Joan!!!! -Megan E.

I had the honor to visit Joan on several occasions as a hospice volunteer. We always had a nice conversation. We shared our love for Missouri. I will miss her excitement of being part of the bell ringers. She always had a bright smile. i will miss her.
