Nita was my third grade teacher. She’s much of the reason I chose to become a teacher. I also had the privilege of knowing her early in my teaching career. Nita filled in for me during my maternity leave. It was incredible to have such an amazing teacher and person fill in for me. I enjoyed getting to know her again during that time.
I’ve since moved away from Lebanon, but there were a few times I bumped into her while I was in town. We always stopped to visit. I introduced my children to her and she loved that so much. I told them, “ She was my third grade teacher… one of the very best!.”
When I read of her passing, tears immediately came. Nita truly made an impact on my life and in the lives of many others!
My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
Sympathy and Prayers! May God bless you with memories until you are reunited with your Mother.
So sorry for the family. Prayers for peace with your loss.
Nita and I were best friends since the 8th grade at Paseo High. Even though we lived so far apart, our friendship remained strong throughout. I will miss her terribly! Vicki Rowland
