Karla Sue Trammell (Bolivar)'s Obituary
Karla Sue Trammell, 65 of Bolivar, MO, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at her home. Services for Karla are under the direction of Butler Funeral Home of Bolivar, MO.
Karla Breeding Trammell was born to Robert Dee Breeding and Alice Bell Stout Breeding on February 19, 1957 and passed away at her home in Bolivar, MO on July 6, 2022.
Karla was a graduate of Marvell Academy in Marvell, Arkansas with the class of 1975 and the University of Arkansas in 1993 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
She worked as a teller at the Bank of Holly Grove in Holly Grove, Arkansas. She also worked for several years at the Springfield Art Museum and Harmony House in Springfield, MO. Karla was a member of "Fresh" Art Gallery, Watercolor USA Honor Society and was a state officer with Arkansas Business and Professional Women, and the Christian Church.
Special interests for Karla was her work with battered women of Southwest Missouri area and she had a special love of animals, especially cats. Another special interest for Karla was the music of Ozark Mountain Daredevils. Karla was proud of her southern heritage and her Cherokee heritage.
Karla was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Alice Breeding. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Trammell; mother-in -law, Shirley Trammell; sisters-in-law, Robin Trammell and Betty Wheeler; brother-in-law, Todd Trammell; niece Mya Lee; daughter, Stephanie Dean; grandchildren, Cameron Dean, Braeden Dean, and Elliana Moore; and a special friend, Ann Kennedy.
Visitation for Karla will be at 10:00 on Tuesday, July 12, followed by funeral services at 11:00 Burial will be in the Dunnegan Cemetery at Dunnegan, MO with Rev. Larry Maddox officiating, music provided by Alan Roberts.
