Dear Lois and Kenneth,
We are so sorry to learn of the passing of your precious son, Kevin. I am sending this tribute for my mother, Genevieve (Exendine) Dunn. Hope you remember her. She has always remembered you two. Daddy (Harold Dunn) went to Heaven in 1993. I am Sheila, mother's only child. We are still in Independence. We are praying for you during this sad time. We have survived 19 long years without Daddy. But we know, some glorious day, we will all be together again. As you will surely join your sons and other loved ones in Heaven. Hold to God's unchanging hand.

my dad was without a doubt, the most wonderful man that I've ever known. It seemed when I was young that the wisdom he shared with me would never do me any good. Now that this has happened. I can only continue to thank him for how strong he helped make me. Without the guidance of this man, I would not be who I am today.. and most definitely not be able to handle this. Thank you, Dad for being such a role model, and having a huge heart. I'm going to miss you very much for the rest of my days. I know you're still here though, dad, and I'll see you again someday. He always said something to me, and it's stuck. It will never fade, and he's proven this saying of his own correct, time and time again. "Love isn't something you can say.
