Water In the Well
You never miss the water till the well runs dry,
when it does, you just want to sit down and cry.
We take things for granted in this world you see,
like the water in the well's, that's there for you and me.
Maybe a loved one, In which we seem to never have time,
change this before your a part in my rhyme.
You see, until after my Mom passed away,
I didn't realize it was Her, my bestest friend until that day.
Now it's too late - I was always too busy, with Plans and kid's- you see,
now, there is no water, in that well, for me.
We have many different wells, from which we draw to drink,
Before our Wells go dry- it's Best to be appreciative, don't you think?
Treating them, to the utmost in our Life, and letting them know,
How grateful you are by spending more time with them, and together grow..
Let the water in your well, be the water of life you see,
giving life to those who comes to draw a drink from you and me.
Uncle Larry I will always remember you and love you! Katherine’s son, jimmy
