Although it has been more than 50 years since I last saw the Dickinson family they have never left my heart. Some of my fondest memories of childhood included growing up with Charles, Eddie, and Kenny. We were the best of friends and we enjoyed some wonderful times together at the old Bacon and Bland schools. One of the saddest times of my youth was when the family moved away from Lebanon and I lost contact with my friends. I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs. Dickinson. I hope life has been good to her and her family. All the kindest regards to the family. Andy Knight

I remember when we would come down in the summer and we would all go out in one of the fields and play ball. And Lola would always get up close when mom would be up to hit the ball and everyone would keep telling her to back up and she would laugh and say why Maggie never hits it anyway and low and behold that time that ball coneceted with that ball and made a line drive right into Lolas leg and she started do a war dance right the there in that field. Everyone was laughing and trying to see if she was alright at the same time. Maybe Lola and mom are up there now getting ready to try some dominos.
