Matthew touched my family just as he graduated High School. He spent many hours at our home. Never a dull moment with this young man around. That smile was the best. Always wore it well. I recall some Fishing times with my family and Matt. Sometimes I would go and other I was not able. None the less I always got the Fish at the end. There was a time that I refer to often with my family. Matt, my daughter and I got caught in the rain while chasing those fish around the Lake. The clay was so slick that we got my truck stuck. It took us hours to get it out. By the time we got free, all of us were dirt from head to toe. Inside the truck didn't look any better. Yet we had an awesome time doing it. Even stopped at Wendy's on the way home. Mud and all. There is so much more about this young man I could share. I will continue to talk of these as I fish, drive through the mountains, see someone wearing his smile, and just reminiscing with my family.
The Bible say's: But thu art the same and thy years shall have no end. This has been my saving Grace for years. I hope it can comfort your family too.
