He was born in Georgia and made his home in various places while his father was serving in the military. They had lived in Waynesville, Missouri and in Louisiana for several years. As a child, he had beat cancer and was a big fan of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and watching football. He also liked working on cars and playing with the children. He always had a smile, possessed a wonderful sense of humor, and loved to make people laugh. His family was very important to him and he centered his life around his wife and his children.
