Opal had made a profession of faith in Christ many years ago and was a member of the Seymour Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In later years she attended the Seymour Freewill Baptist Church. In her middle 50’s she started canvas painting and was very artistic. One of her paintings of the Hodgsons Mill hangs in The Seymour Bank lobby. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting and crocheting, having made nearly a hundred quilts in her years. Opal was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, great-great-great-grandmother, sister, aunt and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate her long life and will cherish the many wonderful times we had together.
