Pam and Jim blessed me so much as a child and young teen. They volunteered at the federal prison where my father served as a chaplain. My father was a single dad when he met them. Somehow through their connection with my dad, they decided to invest in me and welcomed me out to their home many times - often for a week at a time. The time spent with them was very special, fun, and relaxed. I have so many great memories of doing things with Pam. Whether it was cooking together, picking wildflowers, playing games, or listening to Pam tell about her life, it was all enriching. Pam did share love with others in so many ways and one thing I will always remember is her laugh that was always so full of life. At the beginning of my high school years, my family moved to Minnesota, so I didn't get to see them near as much. Yet they did (and still do) remain so close and dear to my heart. I thank God for creating Pam, such a beautiful, kind, loving woman and for giving me the privilege of knowing her and spending time with her.
