Pamela Kingsbury (Seymour)'s Obituary
Pamela Kingsbury passed away February 26, 2015. She was born on March 16, 1930, in Washington, D.C., the first of three daughters of Ruth and Wilbur N. Baughman.
She graduated from Sherwood High School in Sandy Spring, Maryland, in 1947. She attended Vanderbilt and George Washington Universities. In 1950, she married James C. Kingsbury. Pamela was preceded in death by her parents; and two newborn babies, Susan Virginia and David Lee. She is survived by her husband of sixty-four years, and three sons, Richard (Rick) Kingsbury and wife, Lauri McClane, of Baltimore, Maryland; Charles (Chip) Kingsbury and wife, Chari, of Nairobi, Kenya; and Daniel (Dan) Kingsbury and wife, Jill, of Ozark, Missouri; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Sue Conner and Ann Hawkins. At the time of her death she was a member of Diggins Baptist Church. Pam was, above all, a loving wife and mother. While the boys were young, she stayed home to care for them. When they were in school all day, she went to work part-time to build a college fund for them. Her three sons are now men of whom she was justly proud. Pam’s primary interest outside the home was her church. She filled many positions in several churches. She maintained a Christian home, and was the center around which the family formed. She had a great capacity for love and will be deeply missed by all those blessed enough to know and love her.
