Richard Wayne Garzee's Obituary
Richard Wayne Garzee, son of Wayne E. and Bessie Snyder Garzee, was born March 21, 1949, in Bolivar, Missouri, and departed this life October 27, 2009, in Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of sixty years, seven months and six days. He was united in marriage to JoAnn Henry Farris on July 24, 2004. Richard was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Ronnie Garzee; and a step-granddaughter, Kelsey. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn, of the home; a son, Dusty Garzee and his wife, Melanie, of Fair Play, Missouri; three daughters, Deana Campbell, Alicia Zanatta and her husband, Chris, of Fair Play, Missouri, and Miranda Rhinehart and her husband, Jay, of Springfield, Missouri; three step-daughters, Kim Cantrell, Melissa Stacy and her husband, Ryan, of Mansfield, Missouri, and Jennifer Farris of Mtn.Grove, Missouri; two step-sons, Marc Farris and his wife, Janie, and Jason Farris of Mansfield; a brother, James Garzee and his wife, Loreta, of Fordland, Missouri; a sister, Laura Garzee, of Bolivar, Missouri; many grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other relatives and a host of friends. Richard was born and raised in Bolivar and moved to Mansfield twelve years ago where he made his home. He was an antique trader and cut cedar logs. He was a hard worker and could do about anything to provide for himself and his family. In his spare time he enjoyed being with his grandkids, taking care of calves and digging Ginseng. Richard was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle and a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and will cherish the memories. Services will be held at 1:00pm on Friday October 30, 2009 at the Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Mansfield. Burial will be in the Mansfield Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday evening 6-7:00pm under the direction of the Holman-Howe Funeral Home Mansfield, Missouri. Return to top
