Rev. Bob Chew was a true man of God.
He has been a family friend for all 59 years of my life. I am eternally grateful for all the ways he love and cared for all of us. I hear him singing in my head and have many of his quotes and messages. I love you, Pastor Chew.
I love this entire family. Thank you for sharing your Dad with us all!

Sincerest condolences to the Chew family from the Jaramillo family, in Gods grace may you find peace and comfort.

I feel keenly the passing of the last one of his generation in our family. They were our models of "Faith, mighty faith." It was a lot easier to have faith in the unseen God because collectively they were confident that he was and is trustworthy. He was Uncle Bob's joy and passion. Now we cousins are the oldest standard bearers, responsible to model that faith each in our own place. I will dearly miss his prayers for me and mine.
Sorry for your loss, cousins. Our prayers are with you. Love, Peg Roorbach Shrum and Jeff Shrum.
Many fond memories of our cousin, Bob. He always had a smile on his face and joy in his heart. Bob was a four sport varsity athlete at Cape May NJ high school, class of 1950. A faithful preacher for many years. Greeted into heaven with “well done good and faithful servant. Welcome home”.

I have very fond memories of Pastor Chew when he was the Pastor for several years of the Nazarene Church in Champion, Ohio. Though we do not attend that church it is literally in our backyard and Pastor Chew was our neighbor. He could often be seen and heard walking and singing through the parking lot of the church. And when there was a tragic death of a young 13 year old boy in our neighborhood, that my sons were witness to he was at our door immediately, comforting us and praying with us. He was always so upbeat and positive! I have missed hearing his beautiful voice coming in our kitchen window at random times throughout the week. He was a joy and bright light in our world and will be truly missed!

It is amazing how words can fail to express such deep sorrow for the loss of someone. I met Pastor Bob when I was in my early 20s and while that was almost 40 years ago, I can still hear him preaching, signing, and laughing. All I can say is the man had a wonderful impact on everyone that he met and I know I am a better man for having known him. The world will miss him.
