Rev. Robert D. Chew, Sr. (Seymour)'s Obituary
Mr. Chew, 88, died Tuesday, October 20, 2020. He was born on April 3, 1932.
Rev. Robert D. Chew, known to many as Pastor Bob, actively preached the gospel and sang praises until he was taken after contracting COVID.
He pastored Nazarene churches in Pennsylvania, New York and Ohio. His pastoral service spanned more than six decades, ministering to thousands in both worship and song.
In his retirement, he continued faithfully ministering in the communities where he lived in Illinois and Missouri. The joy of the Lord was always in his heart and on his tongue.
He is survived by his five children and their spouses, nine grandchildren and their spouses and 17 great-grandchildren.
He joins his beloved wife of 64 years, Ruth.
This world has lost a loving and righteous soul, a charismatic preacher and the celestial choir has gained an amazing tenor.
