Robert was such a kind and gentle soul, I would take my son and grandson to visit his farm. Robert loved showing my grandson the baby calves, and riding the tractor. His work is finally done here, and he finally retired. Rest in love and light my dear Robert.
Geri and Bob Wills enjoyed having Robert to their home with their family many times in Springfield to watch football games and
have dinners. Their grandchildren, Katya and Alex Wittmer got to visit him for several days at his dairy.
Phil and Janelle (Wills) Wittmer gave 3 trees in his memory and Geri Wills gave flowers.
Last time I was at the farm. Robert and I sat on the tailgate and told stories and laughed with each other until it was almost time to milk again.
Robert's laugh and ability to teach me something new about farming is something I will always remember. Robert will be missed.
