Mama (Eva Lois Williams), Billy, and I were sad to hear of Aunt Ruby's passing. I remember her being at Grandma and Grandpa Jacobs' house on many family gatherings -- especially at Christmas and summer vacations. She gave her sisters haircuts and permanents as younger family members watched and played together. My brothers (Gene-deceased, and Billy) always played with cousins Larry and Donny as the girl cousins watched the "beauty shop" activities. Many years ago our family visited your family in California. I remember that family trip to the Pacific Ocean when our bodies turned blue from the cold water. Our mothers always had something good for us to eat. My mother shares the link to white hair, and it (shockingly) continues on to younger family members (including Billy and me)! Aunt Ruby was a loving, kind, and jovial person. I'm sure she will be missed by many persons.
