Shirley Larimore (Lebanon)'s Obituary
Shirley Fern Larimore was born to Ernest and Clara Johnson Webster on June 8, 1938 in Conway, Missouri. She passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2025 in Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. She was eighty-six years, nine months and twenty-four days of age.
She was raised in Conway and graduated from Conway High School. On July 18, 1956, she was united in marriage to her true love and best friend, Kenneth Larimore, and to this union, three children were born.
Shortly after they were married, they moved to Springfield, Missouri where she was a homemaker until her kids were grown. Shirley was then employed at Dillon’s Supermarket, where she was Bakery manager for seventeen years. Following retirement, she and Kenneth returned to Conway where they have lived the past twenty years.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Clara Webster; her daughter, Brenda Cagle; and her brother, Jerry Webster.
She is survived by her loving husband of sixty-eight years, Kenneth; one daughter, Deb Peters (Joel) of Springfield, Missouri; her son, Rick Larimore (Lisa) of Springfield, Missouri; five grandchildren, Stephanie, Jason, Tania, Tyler and Makensey; seven great-grandchildren, Kyleigh, Ayla, Trenton, Mikayla, Phoenix, Maddox and Alyah; and two great-great-grandchildren, Dray and Oaklee; her sister, Sharon Craig (Daryl) of Lebanon, Missouri; and other relatives and friends.
Shirley loved God and had been an active member of the Fair Grove Freewill Baptist Church. She had served as Sunday School secretary and church treasurer. Her faith was very important to her and she was steadfast in her convictions.
Shirley looked forward to being outside enjoying farm life. She loved raising chickens and looked forward to having a garden each year.
Throughout her life, Shirley was known for her unwavering dedication to her family, embodying the roles of a loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. Her home was a haven of warmth, love, and laughter, where countless memories were created and treasured. She leaves a wonderful legacy for her family and friends to remember her by.
Service for Shirley Larimore will be Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, April 4 from 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Rose Memorial Park. A memorial to the Builderback Cemetery has been established and donations may be left at the funeral home.
