We called her Aunt Suzie and we have many fond memories of camping together, visiting her home and children in Winchendon Mass, and seeing her at family gatherings. She was a smart lady with a ready smile. A true New England Yankee in her practical yet fun nature. She was an especially great friend to her Aunt Ginny (Virginia our mom) and they enjoyed many trips together before she moved to Missouri. She will live forever in our hearts.

Moms was truly a wonderful person who was always there for you.
She liked doing crafts, but loved her quilting if she wasn't at home she was with the ladies at the quilting shop. She made several quits for family as well as for charity.
Moms loved spending time with family and friends and made sure to see as friends as she could when she came out east to visit.
I love you mom and you will be missed. Rest in peace
Rest in peace Sue.. I will remember your endless energy and love of quilting. You were always ready to help me when I got stuck with a pattern ... You will be missed by so many people whose lives you touched.. God bless you dear Sue.

Sue I will miss you. Your enthusiasm for quilting and helping others with their quilting will be a cherished memory. Our sewing days at the "Fabric Store" were always the highlight of the week. Rest in peace. Your friend Vicky Harding.
Sue was so much fun!! I loved sewing with her at The Fabric Store in Lebanon, MO. She loved fabric like most of us and she was always quick to show me what new fabric came in at the store. We were both members of the Quilt Guild and one of the most fun times was giving away quilted stockings full of gifts to kids at Christmas.
She would often have helpful hints about sewing. The one I liked the best was if you sewed something wrong and it would take forever to redo, just say "that's what I meant to do"!
Sue loved her family. She liked the fact that John made her laugh! And that was important to her. She was fun to be around. She cared. I miss her.

My sister was a very thoughtful person.
When I was young she sent a red dress with a red plaid coat with black fox collar to me to wear to my first New Year's dance.
I remember her offering to take my girls for two weeks in the summer so they could visit with her children and their grandparents.
Sue took her Aunt Virginia on vacation several years and checked up on her when she was in the area.
While living in Missouri Sue developed a love for quilting and spent days every week working on charity quilts to give away to different organizations and the state police for accident victims. We all received quilted gifts. I have two quilted jackets that I wear with great pride.
Some may say she was brisk, but she loved her family and friends deeply. just showing it in her deeds more than her words.
I will surely miss her.
