Virginia allowed me to be hired as a personnel intern at FLW and let me know in no uncertain terms that I could not move on until she was "done with me". Four years later, after lots of training, counseling, etc she said she was done and my young family and I moved on, eventually culminating a wonderful career as the Dir of Civilian Personnel at the Army's Fires Center of Excellence, Fort Sill, OK.
The list of professionals who contributed to whatever career success I had is extensive, but I will always consider Virginia to be at the top of that list. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all Virginia's family and friends.
