Wanda Breakfield was one of the first girls I met in the fifth grade of Lebanon Elementary School. We shared May birthdays, and we were ten years old. Wanda was always a caring friend who shared giggles, penmanship, and love of recess. Our worlds separated when we graduated from LHS in 1950. In later years, however, my husband, Bud Bradshaw, who also graduated from LHS in 1950, and I reconnected with Wanda at Class Reunions. Wanda was ever a loyal friend and devoted alumni. It was always sheer pleasure to see and visit with Wanda and Tommy, and we will sorely miss their earthly presence.
Bud and I are sad that we cannot attend her funeral service to pay our final respects. Our heavy hearts are with Wanda's family and friends. We do rejoice in the Christian life that Wanda lived, and in her honor we will send a memorial donation.
So sorry for your loss. I worked with Wanda many years ago at The Children's Shop on Commercial St in Lebanon. I enjoyed working with her. She was always happy and told many stories on her trips in the motor home. Thoughts and prayers go to the family.
