Dear Tonya this is a very hard time for you and I wanted to let you know that my prayers are with you and LaJune at this time.
I grew up in Seymour having never had the privilege to know Billy Francis. I was however a huge fan of Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show. Since he was so much a part of the beginning and endurance of that band, I'm sure I listened to hours of his music. This reminds me that the men behind the music are so much more than great musicians. As a veteran of war and an entertainer, he made many sacrifices, I pray that they do not go unnoticed. My prayers are with you all.
Billy, you will be greatly missed !! I will cherish our conversation May 6th 2010 and will always remember your laughter. You were a living legend to all and a wonderful friend to me.
