Hi. I met Billy back in the 60's he was playing little clubs on Fri & Sat and more if they could. I worked for a construction co out of Mississippi putting in under ground telephone cable all along the cost & Billy came to work with us 2 or 3 days a week so he could make money for food. That was about the time Huricane Camille hit Biloxi so Billy wasn't getting much play time at the bars so he worked with us a lot. So we were friends forever. The thing I will never forget about him is how funny he was. We was working in Mobil when we had a inspector stop by our work site we were on brake Billy said I got this and he walked over to see what was going on. The inspector asked billy just what do you call this well Billy grinned and scratched his head looked down and asked the man did you go to collage he was told yes I have a masters degree. Billy started laughing so loud slapping his knees and told that man your fired. If you have a Masters degree and you don't know what a hole in the ground looks like we don't need you around here. That man took his clip board and walked away saying nothing more. Billy & I remained friends the rest of his life. I will remain his friend forever. Billy I Love & Miss You Your friend Bob Winburn
