William Charles Logue (Lebanon)'s Obituary
William Charles Logue, son of Hiram Martin and Henrietta Margaret Robinson Logue, was born March 8, 1951, in Pomona, California. He departed this life Thursday, July 31, 2014, in his home, near Lebanon, Missouri, at the age of sixty-three years, four months, and twenty-three days.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Claude Logue; and a sister, Laquita Hansen.
Bill is survived by a daughter, Lisa Logue, of St. Louis, Missouri; two grandchildren, Joshua Edwards, and Keilani Brooks, both of St. Louis, Missouri; a sister, Fran Sing, and her husband, Don, of Lebanon, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was raised in the Ontario, California area, where he graduated from high school and college. He first began working as a fireman and then was employed as a security guard for some time. Later, he worked as an ambulance attendant for several years. In 1981, Bill moved to Missouri, where he lived in Hartville and Marshfield before making his home in Lebanon. He owned and operated Courtesy Ambulance Service for a number of years, and then began working as a United States Civil Service paramedic. He also taught C.P.R. to other paramedics. He continued in this endeavor until retiring a few months ago.
Bill made his profession of faith in Christ early in his life and possessed a servant’s heart. He was currently attending the Oasis Worship Center in Lebanon.
He greatly enjoyed being outdoors where his favorite activities were fishing, hunting, and camping. He possessed a delightful sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. His family was very important to him and he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Bill was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, and was a caring neighbor and friend. We celebrate his life and his accomplishments and know that his family and friends will treasure the wonderful memories he made for them during his sixty-three years.
Memorial donations to the Bureau for the Blind may be made through the funeral home.
