Our family was lucky enough to get to know Bill while he was in the Hartville Care Center. Our mother shared a table with Bill and he was so good to help her and look out for her. We enjoyed talking with him. No matter how Bill felt physically, he always had a smile and was ready to talk sports. His dedication to Notre Dame football was unmatched. My sister was able to find a tee shirt that had the schedule and scores from their undefeated season three years ago and he loved it so much. One measure of a person's character is how children react to them. Our grandchildren loved him. It was our pleasure to know him. Rest in Peace, Bill...
