Mary O'hagan
My dear Aunt Winnie- unfortunately I was not told of your passing. I think of you so often and wish that I could have spent more time with you and talked to you more often in the later years of your life. Distance and health issues kept us apart, I am sad for that. I do remember several years that I lived with you and Uncle L.D. when I was only a baby and toddler. You were so kind to me and I am so sad that I did not learn sooner about the years I spent as your daughter. I cherish the times we came to visit you in Missouri on the farm(s). I can still remember my dislike for that "outhouse" that I used on the farm and was thrilled to learn your new farm that you had indoor plumbing! I still remember your wonderful cooking, especially "gooseberry" gobbler. I will always cherish my fond memories of you and Uncle L.D. and Danny... I only wish we would have had more time together and for me to learn more about my childhood. I love you and always will~ Mary Dorkis :)
